Assistant Director, Strategic Enrollment Management and Admissions/Campus Visits
Communications Center & Outreach Operations
Directed the expansion of the Strategic Enrollment Management Admissions Call Center from a general outbound telecommunications center to a blended outbound/inbound communications/engagement center.
Provides leadership and strategic direction to the SEM Communication Center, including managing a team of 10 student workers.
Serves as the central contact person, principal coordinator and supervisor for the telecounseling, SMS, social media, and chat operations as part of the admissions team.
Aids in marketing strategies in collaboration with Enrollment Marketing and University Communications and Marketing.
Plans and directs the outbound communication strategy for mass SMS outreach initiatives through Slate CRM texting platform (e.g. Mongoose).
Develops a working knowledge of various software programs, computer programs, hardware, CRMs, and operating systems. (e.g. OpenPhone, Google Voice, Hootsuite, ZeeMee, Mongoose, Hiya Digital Caller Impression, and inbound text-based chat services).
Determines target market, timing, and messages for telecounseling and other communications.
Assists with the completion of print mailing materials and emails.
Ensures that student communication specialists respond directly, on a limited basis, to requests for specific information generated during telecounseling.

Program Coordinator, Strategic Enrollment Management
Writer, editor, and coordinator for annual Campus Visitor's Guide. Pitched story ideas, interviews subjects, and wrote feature stories centered around various University of Idaho departments, colleges, students, and faculty. Worked with Creative Services and external vendor, Momentous Campus Media, to produce a print magazine and online publication of the guide to distribute across campus and Moscow. Collaborated and edited the guide with a small team to assure compliance of AP and University of Idaho style guidelines.
Worked directly with the Vice Provost to quickly and effectively communicate information via reports, e-communications, and presentations through SEM unit and broader campus community.
Assisted with the execution of programs and initiatives for SEM units and tracks the progress to ensure the programs are delivered on time and successfully.
Developed and coordinated communications to SEM staff on regular schedule, which includes providing writing, proofreading, and editing assistance for quality control.
Coordinated various recruitment and retention events which includes the coordination of travel for short periods of time across the state and region for select program activities.
Acted as liaison for Vice Provost with internal and external audiences.
Served as a member on the Strategic Enrollment Planning Steering Committee Student Success Group which seeks to gather and analyze data, create situational analyses of student needs, and implement the reorganization of enrollment structures and strategies across campus.
Collaborated regularly with SEM directors for the creation and implementation of strategic enrollment and retention planning activities and ideas to assist University of Idaho students and Idaho high schoolers in their pursuit of higher education.

Reviewed class assignments, discussed content, and assisted students with comprehension, grammar, developing ideas and responding to critical feedback.
